She is currently working on becoming the first Bosch motorsport dealer in the country and recently travelled to Germany for a Bosch motorsport conference and technical training. Ashley shares her knowledge and explains that if you work hard and you are outstanding, then the sky is the limit. Pipe Pro Directional Drilling won the innovation award last year at the commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Awards. Since releasing this podcast they have again won the Central Highlands Water Trade Business award, So that is two years in a row! Pipe Pro Directional Drilling is an impressive regional business, doing great things and encouraging more women into the industry!

Eilish tells us there are only 49 female qualified plumbers in Queensland. Eilish suggests we get rid of the stigma that apprenticeship's in male-dominated industries are for men and promote trades as a rewarding career path.

Moving to Australia Gaelle decided she would like to pursue something different. Unsure of her career direction Gaelle chased the mining boom and began as a cleaner on the mine sites. This is how Gaelle discovered her passion for mechanics and was inspired to begin a heavy diesel apprenticeship. Gaelle is now a successful Heavy Diesel Fitter, A mentee of WIMWA, A Human Book and a member of TradeUp Australia. She never stops learning and is an inspiration to anyone considering a career change.

The women consisted of apprentices and qualified tradeswomen from carpentry, painting, civil construction, cabinet making, automotive and electrical.
